Competition: Win A Christmas Carol on DVD

Patrick Stewart Scrooge Christmas Carol

Okay, October has only begun and there’s Halloween (and all of the weird sexy costumes that go with it) to look forward to between now and then, so you’re probably saying “Bah! Humbug!” at the very sight of a Christmas themed post so far away from the big day itself, and you’d be on to something too.

On the topic of “Bah! Humbug!”, that soundbite was made famous by Charles Dickens’ Christmas grump, Ebenezer Scrooge, in A Christmas Carol, one of the most adapted plays known to man. While everyone has their own personal favourite take on this classic tale (anyone who prefers anything over The Muppet Christmas Carol is just plain old fashioned wrong! –Ed), arguably the most quintessential version of the story is the straight to TV 1999 edition starring notable thespian Patrick Stewart.

We’ve got 3 copies of this great Christmas story on DVD to give away to lucky readers. All you need to do in order to be in with a chance of winning is click about in the Rafflecopter box located after the embedded clip from A Christmas Carol. For an extra chance to win, leave a comment under this post telling us, you guessed it, what your favourite Christmas film is.

If you win, you might just end up being every bit as happy as Patrick Stewart is:
